The assignment was to create three images in Adobe illustrator but you couldn’t have used only pictures on google you had to use one original image. We had to use lasso tool to select the parts of the image with the best elements and make it one image. We also had to follow the ten rules of composition. Well for these images we had to learn to make an image fit into words. So we had to search on how to do that until finally we found a youtube video explaining how once we learned how to do that our only struggle left was what to do for the other images. For the original image we took a picture of the sky and added the dove in illustrator. We also made the words in Illustrator. In class we have been learning a lot on how to use photoshop illustrator and follow the ten rules of composition. For this assignment we had to follow the ten rules of composition so we used what we knew to make the image above.
Julian and I were having a very hard time on deciding what to do. It always ended up in we didn’t have that tool or it just didn’t work out. I wanted to make something unique different than everyone else’s because judging the assignment a lot of pictures would be similar. So I thought why don’t we use the tenth rule of composition: Break the rules. That was when I had the idea of fading the image into words that we thought the image represents. Julian knows a lot more about photoshop and illustrator so my job was to get the images and he would convert them so honestly I think he did more of the work. 8/10 I believe would be my final score even if that wasn’t the assignment. I know we might have to redo everything and I understand that if we do.

One of the new skills I learned was how to make an image fade into words. Because we wanted our idea to be unique. Everyone we asked didn’t know how to do it so we had to search it up. After a half hour of searching we finally found the video we were looking for. Once we knew how to do that the project became ten times easier.

I havn’t been the best partner I knew this so I decided to let julian take a break. So I was in charge of making this image. I chose this image and the word’s because I am passionate about running and it also relates to Emerson’s relation that running in nature is very different than running In the street.
I would also say this image is a 8/10 because it is unique and It meets some of the ten rules of composition but it is a little out of the assignment so it is not 100%.

For this image we decided to use Confusion because that was how we felt during this project I felt confused because since we were doing something unique I was not sure if I have to redo the whole project all over again. I also think for this image it's a 8/10 because it is unique and It meets some of the ten rules of composition but it is a little out of the assignment so it is not 100%.
